Unlimited Web Hosting Tips

There are many web hosting companies that claim to offer “unlimited hosting. However, there is no such thing as a true unlimited hosting, no matter what the size of the hosting company. My server is limited that is, space disk and bandwidth, and expensive. Therefore, it is not possible that someone will give unlimited hosting. It is simply not profitable enough. What most companies, it means “unlimited hosting” is that they put limitations on disk space and bandwidth your account to spend. They, however, no other current limits.
Most hosting companies offering unlimited hosting does not mention directly the restrictions. These are mentioned, but deep within the TOS document. You may not spend more than a certain percentage of the CPU. If your account uses more CPU, it will affect the performance of other websites on the server. In most cases, your hosting account or to terminate without notice. Hosting companies also place restrictions on the number of files that can host your account. You can not even be able to accommodate large files to a specific size.
Though it is not possible for a hosting company to offer unlimited hosting, most companies offer it because it sells better. And if a few customers do push to the limits, their accounts will be suspended.
If you have a big website that draws a lot of traffic, it is always a better idea to purchase a dedicated server or a VPS. A shared hosting account will just not be sufficient. The same applies if you use your hosting account to send large number of newsletters. A dedicated server is relatively costly, but it provides much better performance. If your website is even bigger, grid-hosting or even multiple load-balanced servers may be a better option. But usually,a dedicated server is more than sufficient for any type of website.
